Krystal brings over two decades of experience in veterinary medicine to her role as the founding leadership team at Spruce Veterinary Urgent Care. Since 2004, she has worked in both general practice and emergency settings, ultimately discovering her passion for the fast-paced and deeply rewarding world of urgent and emergency care.

Known for her compassion, calm presence, and commitment to continuous learning, Krystal is inspired daily by the opportunity to work alongside a dedicated team to help sick and injured animals heal and return home to their families.

Outside of work, Krystal enjoys a lively home life with her husband, two daughters, a goofy golden retriever named Rufus, and four beloved cats (Penguin, Figaro, Marty McFly and Linus). A lifelong cat lover, she also volunteers with Northwest Animal Companions and finds great joy in fostering expectant feline moms—providing them with a safe and loving environment to welcome their kittens into the world.
