she/her
Dr. Burger grew up in northern California and completed her undergraduate degree under the redwoods at UC Santa Cruz. She grew up surrounded by animals and loved riding horses from a young age. She attended veterinary school at Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine, completing her clinical rotations at UW Madison. Following veterinary school, she completed an intensive emergency/specialty rotating internship in southern California. She has also completed advanced training in abdominal ultrasound and enjoys using this modality to help diagnose complex illnesses in an urgent care setting. She currently lives in Beaverton with her husband, daughter, their small dog Olive, and 2 cats (Gatsby and Yo-Yo).
She loves being a veterinarian because it is a consistently challenging, yet overwhelmingly rewarding career. She prioritizes providing a low stress experience for her patients, and strives to ensure her clients are educated and empowered to help their pets live happy, healthy lives.
