Dr. Burger grew up in northern California and completed her undergraduate degree under the redwoods at UC Santa Cruz. She grew up always surrounded by animals and loved riding horses from a young age. Dr. Burger attended veterinary school at Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine, and then completed an intensive emergency/specialty rotating internship in southern California. She also completed advanced training in abdominal ultrasound and enjoy using this modality to help diagnose complex illnesses and is excited to use this diagnostic tool in an urgent care setting. I currently live in Beaverton with my husband, daughter, our small dog Olive, and two cats (Gatsby and Yo-Yo). 

She loves being a veterinarian because it is a consistently challenging, yet overwhelmingly rewarding career. Dr. Burger prioritizes providing a low stress experience for her patients and strives to ensure her clients are educated and empowered to help their pets live happy, healthy lives.
