Dr. David Suh grew up in and around Los Angeles, California. He has lived all across the United States before landing in Portland, Oregon. After serving five years in the U.S. Army Infantry, he received his Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of California, Irvine in 2015 and his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the University of California, Davis in 2024. After graduation, he moved up to Portland where he trained as an intern at Dove Lewis Emergency Animal Hospital.

Dr. Suh is a member of the Portland Veterinary Medical Association. He has special interests in anatomic pathology, neurology, and client education and collaboration.

Dr. Suh lives with his wife, their two dogs, Obi and Prince Theon, and his bearded dragon, Gorbo. In his free time, he enjoys food adventures with his wife, claw machines, cultivating his love of succulents, and snowboarding when the weather and his knees allow.
